Clinical interface terminology: The key to accurate healthcare analytics

Watch the webinar on-demand

In their early days, electronic health records (EHRs) primarily supported a health system’s billing and coding needs. But as EHR use increased, so too did the demands on a clinician’s time. Soon enough, providers could no longer intuitively document a patient’s condition using natural, clinical language. Instead, they faced the stress of finding and memorizing the standardized codes that represented a diagnosis or procedure – a struggle that often left the patient’s chart incomplete.

Use of a clinical interface terminology (CIT) solves this problem. By allowing clinicians to “speak like clinicians,” CIT is the crosslink between providers and the mountain of regulatory, billing, and analytic initiatives operating within the healthcare system.

Watch the webinar to:

  • Learn how clinical interface terminology fits into the healthcare ecosystem
  • Examine how CIT supports clinical documentation, reimbursement, and population health initiatives
  • Demonstrate how clinical interface terminology facilitates interoperability
